GRAND PAVILION - "In Xanadu did Kubla Khan a stately pleasure-dome decree…"

Our Grand Pavilion is the flagship of our unique Pavilion range; an elegant blend of global architecture and cultures, this versatile structure is a circular wooden framed tent with an onion-domed top.

At 18m in diameter, the Grand Pavilion has a capacity of 200-250. This of course can be increased with attached yurt pods radiating around to create ‘rooms’ for extra dining, chill-out, bars etc.

Cream coloured waxed cotton canvas compliments the ash frame to retain an organic feel. Styled window walls are available as are solid wooden wall panels with windows for more bracing weather; this is a year round tent. It can be erected on hard standing as well as on grass.

The structural design enables a central dance-floor area around which guests can dine at round tables or fanning long tables. There is the option of a purpose made central black and white dance-floor in a nautical compass design.

The Grand Pavilion comes in to its own for weddings of around 180 guests, there is a magical feeling dining in a circular tent around a central dance-floor.

There is no end of decorative ideas that can be applied internally. The base palate is a cream roof lining swagged above the roof struts and cream walls with a burgundy scallop trim. The beauty is in the inherent design alone.

There are various wall lining designs that work particularly well in this structure and we can advise on tried and tested lighting and floral approaches that are simply stunning.

THE ORANGERY

As part of the Pavilion range, the Orangery is an extended version of our Grand Pavilion. The footprint is an elongated circle; 18m across by 24m at its longest.

This enables a party of 250 dining around a central dance-floor or up to 350 throughout the whole structure. This capacity increases more and more as attached satellite 'rooms' are added around the Orangery.

As with all the Pavilion range, the Orangery design is based on the Yurt principle but gives a much larger venue space that is aesthetically superior to any conventional marquee of this scale.

Architecturally the Orangery is evocative of Victorian glass houses with a palatial feel. The whale-rib roof structure is a design that needs no dressing.

A fabulous way of decorating the Orangery is by using very large plants or trees that can be hired in; coupled with a comprehensive lighting install, the visual effect is beautiful.
