Marquee Hire Yorkshire

A secret spot for a marquee wedding nestled in the Hambleton Hills.

Sophie and James’s wedding unfolded against the backdrop of the Yorkshire countryside, at the foot of the Hambelton Hills. In search for the perfect venue, they visited the charming Low Osgoodby Grange where the lovely host Holly, greeted them with open arms.

A hidden gem of a wedding venue situated on a working farm in Thirsk with its own on-site Georgian bed and breakfast was the ideal location for them. Low Osgoodby Grange felt immediate homely which was just what the couple were looking for.

Sophie said “I think the main selling point for Low Osgoodby other than the venue itself is Holly. From the moment we arrived for our first viewing she made us feel like nothing we wanted was ever too much. She works incredibly hard, and it shows in everything that she does!”

Sophie and James tied the knot in the boho inspired woodland wedding ceremony which took place under the timber canopy before settling into the day and enjoying everything this laid-back rural setting had to offer.

The stunning lakeside is the perfect terrain to hosts our luxury and elegant sailcloth marquee and Sophie and James decided on a tent with three vertical poles inside, measuring 26 meters long and hosting their 140 guests on our rustic long tables and chairs.

The couple incorporated the charm of hanging vintage lampshades from the sailcloth tent ceiling.

With the Inspired Structures team on hand to help with the decorations, we hung fishing wire between the poles and the lampshades draped nicely giving an illusion of floating shades.

Sophies unique vision really paid off and the interior was a masterpiece!

Everyone indulged in grazing platter feasts creating an atmosphere of relaxed style. Their celebration was warm and heartfelt, and they let their personal touch shine through. Their friends and family members collaborated helping with the cake and decorations throughout.

Laura Rhian Photography captured the day brilliantly and has brought back to life the day again. She’s a natural approach photographer capturing the most important and natural moments.

The rustic charm and idyllic woods provided the perfect backdrop for their vision and the rolling countryside in the background made for perfect photos as you can see.

The day ran smoothly thanks to all the fabulous suppliers including the bar and evening food by Forresters Arms, Glamping tents were provided by Into the wild bell tents. The music in the daytime was provided by dedicated family members and the tribute and they had in the evening was Planet ABBA.

“Thank you again to Grant and your whole team at Inspired, we had the best day we could have imagined and everyone absolutely loved the sailcloth marquee!”
