Back on 3rd August we were delighted to have the opportunity to showcase our corporate events capability.
We were at York Sports Club where we had been commissioned to provide the structures for the cricket match, part of the 50 overs series, with Yorkshire Vikings playing against Warwickshire. Luckily a 39-run victory over the opposition in the Royal London Cup.
Not so lucky on 6th August when playing against Nottinghamshire when Yorkshire had to settle for a one-point No Result, but they remain firmly in the hunt for knockout qualification in the Royal London Cup.
Important to impress as lots of VIPs attending including Sponsors Royal Alliance, as well as a crowd of around 3,000 each day. Our team installed some amazing structures that complemented the events and the occasions:
- VIP Hospitality marquee size 14m x 44m with 40 tables for diners
- Catering and round bar marquee size 14m x 14m
Grant even managed to grab a moment to have a beer at the bar and watch a spot of cricket after his hard work.
